GLOMEX ZIGBOAT PROTECTS WORKBOATS WHILE AWAY
The heart of the Glomex ZigBoat system is the Gateway core module.
It doesn’t need wiring or drilling holes, so installation couldn’t be easier;
al l that’s needed is a 12-24VDC power supply. I t has a backup battery life of 3–5 years. At only 4″ L x 4″ W x 1.1″ H, it can be tucked away in any centralized, protected space. The PRO version of the Gateway has an inbuilt GSM/3G module and external SIM card slot. I t has a four-hour battery backup.
Wireless sensors are placed throughout the vessel as needed. Due to Zigbee technology, they’ l l run for 3–5 years on standard alkaline batteries.
Each has a unique QR code that is scanned using the free mobile app to connect it to the Gateway, making it truly plug-and-play.
There is no limit to the number of sensors the system will accommodate and a wide range are offered. Completely scalable, they’re added as needed and can easily be moved to another vessel.
The standard kit includes Battery, Flood and Porthole/Door sensors.
The PRO kit adds CamBoat, a wireless video surveillance camera. Optional sensors include Heat, Smoke, Motion, Shore Power and Weather sensors, and GPS Tracking with Geofencing. CamBoat can be added to the standard kit or for multiple camera applications.
Using the Android or iOS ZigBoat app is simple. I t has an intuitive dashboard that delivers 24/7 access to all monitored systems. Real-time push notifications can be sent on the starter kit and the PRO kit can send SMS alerts when critical events occur.
The standard Glomex ZigBoat package retai ls for $999; the PRO kit is $1,399. Additional components are sold individual ly.
